G&M Power Plant provides customers with a complete range of pre and in-service support. The range extends from the provision of initial pre-specification advisory services to in-service maintenance and problem resolution at the customer’s site.

We assist the customer to refine specifications so that operational objectives and end-use requirements are completely satisfied in the most technically efficient and economic manner.

The following are typical examples of the services provided to our customers:

  • Liaison with client to ensure the correct rating of the required equipment.
  • Full in-house design including general arrangements and layout drawings.
  • Control and interface schematic diagrams.
  • Clarification of any specified classification society requirements.
  • Provision of applicable cooling, combustion and exhaust system requirements.
  • Space / weight consideration where applicable (new build and replacement sets).
  • Emissions consideration ( IMO / Tier2 ).


G&M Power Plant provides a complete installation and commissioning service worldwide, including:

  • On-board installation inspection
  • Full commissioning and sea trials
  • Verification trials for classification conformance


G&M Power Plant provides a complete in-service support program. The services includes installation and project management, spares provisioning, management of a scheduled maintenance program and the utilisation of a mobile team of service engineers who provide on-site trouble-shooting and technical support.

  • Supply and distribution of spare parts.
  • Management of scheduled maintenance program.
  • Setting to work / commissioning / HAT’s & SAT’s.
  • Fault finding / troubleshooting.
  • Copy of re-winding of alternators.
